Joe Paz Herrera is running for State Senate District 24

Although Joe is Pro-life, he continues to defend and will work to restore the reproductive freedoms of women in Texas.
Each woman has the right in consultation with her family, church leaders, doctors or whoever else she deems important in her life, to make decisions about her healthcare needs

Since 2018, 12 rural hospitals have closed across Texas. We need to increase access to rural healthcare in Texas, and ensure our seniors, and families get the services they need, without have to drive hours to the nearest hospital

Unlike the current Senator, Joe does not support moving money out of our Publics Schools and into the Greg Abbott supported Voucher Program. We need more funding for our publics school, and higher pay for our teachers and staff. We need to ensure each school district has the resources to educate and protect the future of Texas

Joe supports our law enforcement officers, and will work to increase funding for local law enforcement agencies. The rule of law is important to the future of all Texans, and we need to ensure that each citizen is treated in accordance of local, state, and federal laws
